Multiple modalities are essential to ensure learners have the tools they need to succeed. Below are some of the skills I employ to create a diverse learning experience.

I have worked extensively with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator to create logos, icons, job aids, edited pictures, and many more elements. In recent years, I have moved into using faster web-based tools due to time constraints on projects, but the Adobe products are still the best when it comes to features. My DOWNTIME icons were created in Illustrator.

Word and PowerPoint are both underutilized tools that most designers have easy access to. From storyboarding to infographics, some of the things people wish they could do in Photoshop can actually be easily done in PowerPoint. I created many elements for my TCRI - Development Days brochure in PowerPoint, including the company logo.

Web-based tools for design are becoming more and more available. They're often free and easy to use. Recently, I have found myself returning quite frequently to Canva. It's simple, feature-rich, and has great templates to generate ideas. My Development Days brochure, as well as my Process Clamp Job Aid were both created in Canva.
